Want to get into financial technology?

FinTech Insight Programme

Hacking tips

Are you interested in a career in tech?

Are you interested in finance but aren’t sure what FinTech is?

Financial technology, often shortened to FinTech, is the technology and innovation that aims to compete with traditional banking and finance - like the new types of mobile banking apps. In 2017, over £800 million was invested in London-based FinTech start-ups. This is a booming sector with lots of different jobs, that you don't have to go to university to get into.

This February half-term, WhiteHat, in partnership with our incredible employers Tandem Bank and Curve, are delighted to be hosting a 2 day, Fintech Insight Programme. This programme is aimed at young people in their final year of sixth form or college, who identify as female.

Come and find out about how financial technology is changing the world of banking and financial services, learn some new tech skills and explore how this could be a future career option for you.

No prior tech experience or STEM subjects are required. The programme is completely free, lunch will be provided and travel costs reimbursed. Apply at this link.

If your application is successful, the next stage is a telephone interview.
